As appealing as @glennbeck’s sudden interest in our efforts is, let’s call it what it is: A feeble attempt to distract from #Foxileaks
More info about #Foxileaks here, leaked internal email from Fox that shows what goes on behind the scenes. The email makes it pretty clear Fox’s agenda is pimping news that supports conservative positions while ignoring facts to the contrary.
In short, Beck shouldn’t be on the air but Fox is determined to keep him on the air in spite of this, or perhaps because of it:
It’s time to drop Fox.
“I believe no responsible company should advertise on Fox News due to its recent and on-going deplorable conduct.”

In July 2010, Kaplan Tutoring (a subsidiary of The Washington Post Company) pulled their ads from Glenn Beck’s show.
But yesterday (12/13/10), a Kaplan Tutoring ad ran during Glenn Beck’s show. Accordingly, participants in the StopBeck effort reached out for clarification and urged Kaplan to honor their commitment.
Kaplan advised the ad ran by mistake, tweeting:

Helzberg Diamonds’ ads recently started running on Glenn Beck’s program on Fox News.
As with other advertisers, the StopBeck effort reached out to Helzberg Diamonds. We kindly requested that they follow the responsible action of hundreds of other former advertisers and refrain from advertising on Glenn Beck’s show.
In a statement sent to the StopBeck effort, Helzberg Diamonds advised that they were removing their ads from Glenn Beck’s show:
Thanks for raising the concern. We’ve reviewed the marketing schedule and made the decision to remove our commercials from that time slot. With commitments already made and to provide professional notice, this will go into effect next week. We appreciate your feedback and responsiveness.
